My study continues ....Have you ever wondered how our emotions, energy centers, and spiritual life are connected? As I studied my scriptures this week, especially Ezekiel 1 and Revelation 4, I was deeply moved by the layered symbolism and how it relates to our emotional and energetic health. Let’s explore what God's Word says about our body as a spiritual vessel, and how our feelings and chakras reflect God’s divine design.

Ezekiel 1: The Vision of the Living Creatures and Our Inner Landscape

In Ezekiel 1 (KJV), the prophet describes an awe-inspiring vision. A whirlwind, a great cloud with fire and amber—a scene full of divine energy and mystery. These vivid images point to the Holy Spirit of God moving powerfully within and around us.

The Four Living Creatures: Emotions in Human Form

  • Verses 4–6 describe four living creatures, each with the likeness of a man but with four faces. These can be seen as symbolic of the four stages of life: child, teen, adult, and elder.
  • In verse 10, we read that each creature had:
    • The face of a man – symbolic of joy and the human experience.
    • The face of a lion – representing courage, particularly in times of fear.
    • The face of an ox – symbolizing righteous action in response to anger, especially when boundaries are violated (think of Jesus turning over the tables in the temple).
    • The face of an eagle – signifying the ability to rise above grief, releasing sadness to soar spiritually.
These four faces represent emotional responses that guide our growth. Our feelings, when understood and channeled properly, are not weaknesses, instead they are our spiritual cues for movement and transformation.

Energy Centers & the Seven Spirits of God

  • Verse 13 tells of each creature appearing like burning coals of fire—like lamps. These lights running up and down the body can be understood as our seven energy centers or chakras, corresponding with the Seven Spirits of God.
  • Out of these centers comes lightning—a nod to our electromagnetic nature, where hormonal signals are constantly being sent through the body to keep us in balance. Each chakra is connected to a gland in the endocrine system, showing how deeply spirit and biology intertwine.

Wheels Within Wheels, Eyes All Around

  • Verses 15–20 speak of "wheels within wheels" filled with eyes. This could represent our sensory awareness, always perceiving our surroundings and signaling emotional or hormonal responses. The "eyes" reflect the perceptive nature of our divine spirit—constantly watching, sensing, feeling.
  • Verse 24 describes the sound of wings—a beautiful metaphor for how each chakra or energy center has its own vibration or resonance. If you have one, try placing an activated tuning fork over your third eye or crown chakra and feel the difference—they literally hum louder with vibrational energy.

God’s Glory Surrounds Us

  • Verse 27–28 speaks of a brilliant aura surrounding the figure in the vision, "as the appearance of a bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain"—a rainbow. The rainbow is a symbol of the chakra system, with its seven distinct colors.
  • This rainbow around us is the glory of God, our spiritual aura. It shines brighter the more connected we are to God.

Revelation 4: The Throne, the Rainbow, and the Energy of Love

Turning to Revelation 4, we see John taken in spirit to behold the throne of God.
  • Verse 2–3 describe the throne surrounded by a rainbow, with green shining prominently. Green is the color of the heart chakra, the center of love. And what do we know? God is love. This rainbow isn’t just beautiful—it’s deeply symbolic of divine connection.
  • Verse 5 mentions seven lamps of fire, again pointing to the seven spirits of God and their reflection in our energy centers.
  • The four beasts appear again in verse 7—lion, man, calf (ox), and eagle—mirroring Ezekiel’s vision and the energy centers/chakras of mankind.

Spiritual Insight: Emotions, Energy & Divine Alignment

What stands out in both Ezekiel and Revelation is the sacred blueprint of the human being. We are emotional, energetic, and spiritual beings. Our:

  • Emotions signal when something is aligned or off course.
  • Energy centers (chakras) reflect our spiritual health and hormone balance.
  • Aura shines based on our connection with God and our emotional clarity.
When our senses take in the world, we respond—sometimes with fear, sometimes with courage, sometimes with grief or righteous anger. These responses are spiritually significant. Our body becomes the temple where Spirit and emotion meet.

Final Thoughts

As you meditate on Ezekiel 1 and Revelation 4, consider how God has designed your body not just as flesh, but as a vessel of light, energy, and divine reflection. Your feelings are not random. Your emotions are sacred messengers. Your aura is your testimony. And the closer you walk with God, the more your light shines.
Let your rainbow shine bright.

From Failing at Everything to Reaching My Dreams

It seems ages ago now but it really wasn't that long ago that I was in a very different place than I am now. In 2012 I was in a very negative place. It seemed nothing in my life was going my way. I had made choices that went against what I believed and this added too negative state of mind. Try as I might I just could not seem to get out of it. Everything I thought and everything I said was negative. It just seemed to flow out of me. I felt out of control and didn't know what to do about it.

Hi, My name is Tammy Hawksworth, I am a wife to Troy, my hero husband, a mother to six amazing children- two boys and four girls, one is special needs with something called Cri Du Chat syndrome, and a grandmother to six energetic grandbabies( although none are babies anymore) - three boys and three girls, and  I am a wellness promoter and mentor.

I found my way out of the dark abyss I was in and I never want to see anyone else get to that place or worse and I now share what I have used to help me,to help others

A little history, I had two failed marriages, I was a wanna be stay at home mom that now felt I had to work outside the home to make ends meet, having a special needs child, I believed I needed to be home for, and  my now hubby, had off the charts chronic pain and a brain injury that resulted in short term memory loss from an accident from almost 20 years ago. I felt I had to constantly be a broken record, repeating everything I said either to my daughter or my hubby. Add my negative mindset and it was not a fun place.

Then one day in my kitchen, an interesting thing happened, I dropped something and made a mess on the floor. One of my children came in and said "you're a bad mom!" On any other day, this wouldn't have phased me but this was from a child who normally never said anything like that and it made me do a double take and really think about it. "was I a bad mom?" I only ever wanted to be the best mom I could be. I grew up just wanting to be a" mom", so after a brief moment, I responded with " I'm not a bad mom because I spilled something." "I'm a great mom, I care about your well being, I teach you right from wrong, and I love you, that makes me a great mom"

Little did I know that those words would be a key to changing something in me that set me on the path to getting out of my negativity and my deep dark abyss.

I was using affirmations! I didn't know it, but I was.I have since learned that our words we think and our words we speak have more power than most people ever  realize.

Then as life does, when we shift gears,  I  was then introduced to some online training that helped me learn more tools to help me get back on track. And shortly after that I was beginning to be introduced to essential oils. Again, little did I know how huge a benefit these would be in helping the tools I was learning, take effect in record time.

I now spend my time sharing these tools and these oils with anyone wanting to improve their mental, emotional, spiritual and physical wellness, because when you shift gears and change your path and change your direction, you change your life!

I have an interesting household, where there is rarely a dull moment, but when you go from being a couch potato, and not able to get energy to do pretty much anything- to being motivated to accomplish anything I set my mind to, I just can't keep that to myself. The changes for good in my life and the goals I am achieving are due to these things.
Want to know more, then stay tuned, I have so much to share!
